I've put a rebuilt 350 into my "72 Javelin. Mounts are billet aluminun side mounts that I got from Speedway Motors. The distributor is tight in back so I"m using an old cast iron Delco single point distributor w/ MSD 6A box . The main problem that I"ve got is the headers. I"m using a set of Hooker block hugger type w/ center outlet (2 1/2") that exits right over the stock crossmember and makes it a real tight bend to hook up the exhaust. I tried a set of shorty type that exits more to the back but the pass. side hits the strut rod at the flange. Anybody tried this swap? A jeep has a similar engine compartment I think.
