Hey guys/gals,

   I'm selling my complete motor swap out of my S14!  This will include:

Engine

Tranny (6 speed with modified shifter linkage to fit an S chassis!)

Fuel rails with proper FPR for a return style fuel setup

Alternator

Starter (350Z)

Intake manifold (350z)

Exhaust manifolds (350Z with the LH already modified to clear your steering shaft!)

Clutch and flywheel (350Z)

RWD 350Z oil pans already installed!

RWD motor mounts, ready to bolt into your 240sx!

 

This will not include:

Compter

Wiring harness

MAF or tube

Radiator hoses

PS pump or lines

Exhaust or "down pipes", etc.

If you have any questions about what is or isn't included please ask me!  This is not an "easy" swap and is not recommended for your first swap.

 

This setup is ready to bolt into your 240, all the hard stuff is already done.  I'm selling this package for $2,650.  That's just a little more than the average SR or RB package but way, way more unique and with arguably more power potential. This motor will put down to the wheels as much or more than a stock SR with more low end torque to boot, and if you want to turbocharge it it will put down more than 300hp at 10psi or less!  This requires NO modifications to your car's frame or crossmember or trannsmission tunnel.

I can ship this setup anywhere in the US for an additional charge and it will be professionally crated and protected.

The ECU and harness is the main thing.  I'm going to throw in the driveshaft if the buyer pays asking price for the package.  Other then that not much....exhaust will have to be made for it at a local muffler shop...intake tube and MAF (if you're using an ECU that requires one)....throttle body (the type depends again on what ECU you use)...not much!

 

I'm thinking about putting together another package like this but with a VQ30DE, would anyone be interested in something like that (it would be cheaper).

i know many who would be interested in package deals, why dont you start a business Fred? i would  love the current package you are selling or another vq35 but i have an 89, would this one you are selling fit into my car?

I'm considering it, it's just that VQ35's are still pretty high priced, there's no way I could put this package back together for this price (with a VQ35DE)!  It would likely be about 800-1000$ more than what I'm asking for this one. 

I can get the 3.0's a lot cheaper though which makes it more attainable for people, I'm just trying to figure out if a lot of people would be interested in the 3.0 since some view it as "old news" now with 3.5 out.  However, it would still make for a quick NA car and of course as we've seen in the multimedia forum 500lbs or torque ain't no problem for the 3.0 with a turbo!

This will fit into an S13 but I'm unsure of the mounts and driveshaft and sway bar clearance in the S13 chassis, Broaner's got an S13 going with the same basic parts as me though so it's definately doable.

It seems to me that it would bolt into the S13 just fine.  Don't SR20's bolt into S13's and S14's with the same mounts?  If so then I'd think this would too but I'm just speculating.  As for the driveshaft again, I'm not 100% sure since I don't have an S13 to play around with.

 

About 20k on the motor, less I believe on the tranny.

Yeah I would assume to. I have never seen anything that generation specific for the swaps within the S chassis. I will have to look on some of the other boards to make sure there aren't any differences for the other swaps.

Fred what are you doing with your megasquirt setup? Would it run w/o flaws with a retune?

I've got it all at home boxed up.  It will run fine if it was tuned properly, I took it up to about 6-7k rpm a few times and found no issues.
