"Them Furriners"
"Don't consider transplanting a foreign gasoline engine (diesels are another matter, and are discussed later) in a domestic chassis; not even if your car needs
any old engine to get it back up on all fours, and your neighbor has a clapped-out Jaguar, or whatever, with a sound power plant that he'll
give you.......foreign engines are notoriously fussy, temperamental things, requiring imported (read expensive) parts, high-priced servicing and tuning - if you can find an agency to service it - and they're just not compatible with our generally heavier cars and long, straight roads where our engines must buzz for hours without letup....an American engine in a foreign chassis, yes.....the other way around - don't even consider it.."
I had to laugh out loud when I read that!
