I don't see how that is even remotely possible

I know for a fact stock g35's and 350z's dyno at 240 hp/tq to the wheels,
and that NA VQ35DE swaps dyno at 200 to the wheels.

where did that 60 foot pounds of tq your saying we lose? or gain for that matter?

Fred, what year maxima was your wiring harness based off of? because I bought an MAF for an 03/04 maxima and it had the wrong connector. I want to get the correct one so all I need left is the ECU because I already have the NATS and that is ready to be wired in.

Hey Guys,

I'm new to this forums as well, and am just fiddling with nissans actually (Honda guy at heart) and i'm currently helping a friend with an sr20 swap.

Thing is, im nabbing a vq35de from a max (block and heads-don't know whats wrong just yet) for $15, and i'm playing around with some ideas: Does anyone have any info on a VQ swap onto a 300zx?

I can't recall which car it came out of honestly, but it may have been an 02.

Sorry for the revival but how is this still going?

I have a couple of questions.

How do I put VQ30DE block + VQ35DE (RWD) upper oil pan + VQ35DE (RWD) flywheel & starter + VQ30DE ECU together?

Which flywheel sensor should I use and why? (i.e. is it because of sensor placement or just plain difference in sensor technology that even DIY wiring would not help)

I know this has nothing to do with your car but if been trying to do research on how to get a 3.5 swapped for my 3.0.I have a 97 maxima with a injen intake.It started misfiring like crazy so i change the spark plugs and cleaned my injetors it only got worse with the new spark plugs.I put the old ones back in it ran a lil better.It has 146000 on it i figure i'll just swap it out but i havent really foun any good information on doing so.Any tips?
