yes its finally alive

finally fired into life about an hour ago,so now its just the long tuning road ahead, unless i can find some $$ to get on a dyno.

turns out the flywheel wasnt my main problem, the guy that made my bellhousing joined it on slightly the wrong angle, by fluke i spaced the top 5 bolts on the bellhousing bolts 2mm and now its perfect.

so the 300zx flywheel will work, starter doesnt mesh perfect but if rwd is like fwd there will be a few different tooth counts to play with, and a 10mm spacer is all thats needed.

for the 2.0 cefiro flywheel a 15mm spacer was needed.

 

Very nice! Always gotta check other poeples (and your own) work cant just assume stuff when your working with custom parts....

do you think the aftermarket Z/G headers will work the same as the stock Z/G headers when fabbing up the turbo manfold? also, i wanna see final pix from underneath the hood?

in my s14 the stock manifolds needed to be relieved to clear the steering column, and the aftermarket extractors i tried made this problem 1000x worse so the stock ones stayed seeing im going tt shortly anyway.

i think i read your not using a s chassis, so they may work ok for you.

ill take some more pics tomorrow, still far from how i want it though.

yeah, this will be going into a 1991 Z32 N/A.

this is how it looks at the moment, still alot of work to do making it presentable, but i dont want to do too much seeing ill be pulling it all out to go tt anyway.

i ordered sum stock z/g headers from z1motorsports and should be here monday/tuesday. anyone know how to polish headers? also, how did you route the right hand side of the turbo manifold? pix?
