fairly new to the engine swaping buisness myself so i hope im not giving you false information here.
noticed nobody else has replied to this so i hope you havnt given up.
been looking into doing a mitsi v6 rwd swap myself. the older 3.0ltr dohc v6 may well line up with the starion transmission. the problem is the older engines tended to suffer from crank walk problems at high miles. the newer engines faced the other way but to look at are basicly the same, or so it would appear. problem using the newer engines is the position of the starter motor.
