i'm thinking about buying a 2-door grand marquie mercury. where i live there is no emmisions testing or safety inspections. i have a very healthy 302(306)/4-speed out of a 1969 ford. i want to swap the 306/4-speed into this mercury. i do not know what year it is. all the decals,emmisions decals and vin number are missing,someone took the dash out of it.it dose have a throttle body fuel injection fuel system and a computor control on the dist. how do i by pass the computer and still have the car func ution. but do not want the computor to control the engine.can any body have any ideas?
