how much was your Link Plus? also, can you get the a32 vq30de engine harness?

link plus was $1300 nz, can do loom for a32, but best bet is to ask Fred, as he is a wee bit closer to you than i am.

which pulleys match up to the VQ30DET? VQ30DE or VQ35DE?

the VQ30DE pully off the a32 is identical, i will be matching up a VQ35DE pully on the weekend to make sure the sensor pick ups are in the same place,

did you replace the head gaskets? also, anymore vids? did you keep your turbo manifold?

i havnt opened the engine up at all, standard everything, dont see the point in doing anything untill it goes , if it does at all, no more vids, been having to much fun driving, although gearbox is almost dead so will need to sort that soon.

i kept the factory turbo manifold, its on a shelf somewhere, was looking at making a turbo kit for  a mates maxima, but still have too much i want to do on my own car.

i could only test pullys with a vq25dd, from a v35 sedan, it appears to be the same as a 35 from all the pics i can find, they dont use a trigger wheel on the pully, so not useable at all,

i'm going to run an extention pipe from the manifold to the turbo instead of having a whole manifold fabbed out. whenever you get sumone who wants to film let em;)

yea that was original intention aswell, but the crossover pipe wouldnt let me sit the engine as far back as i wanted, there was no way i was swapping to a short vq to have it sit in the same place as an sr

i meant to ask, wut is the redline on this motor and wuts limit?

i have mine set at 7500 at the moment dont really see the need to stress the engine at this stage as it makes plenty of power for whats done to it,as far as factory limit, im not sure, but geussing 6500.

if i ever find a pair of 350z heads ill make a new engine, then put current one on dyno and see how far i can push it.

any updates? what was ur TQ?

on a us vq30de the motor can rev up to about 7200. ANy thing after that it get real noisy and some say that around 7400 you start to have a little valve float. Some member of maxima .org have reved them 8000 but it did not last long and the vq30de oil  pump will not stand much reving. not sure on the jdm vq30det

no updates engine wise, i did a little work in the looks department but thats all at the moment, im movin to Australia in November so ill either sell the car here, or ship it over, ive been looking more and more at LS1 conversions so i will be looking into doing something with that when i get there.

What?? Sell it!! I've been waiting on some updates for a while and this is what i get. You are breaking my heart. Damn good work and even better craftsmanship. I will be attempting this shortly by beefing up a n/a vq30de from a maxima. Good luck on the move and the ls1 swap. How about some vids for the road? Maybe more pics??
