The quench area of the 35 heads is hurt when bolted to a 30 block. I'm not really sure why though. I'm not supplying this info from personal experience. Its what I've read on the .org from some of the knowledgable memebers(Looking for post evidence now). Perhaps Drew has some insight to this. My thinking is that in NA form the flemished quench pads are not a huge problem. But with boost I can only imagine.
The 35 block, if for no other reason, is superior for boost due to its OEM piston squirters. That alone is enough of a reason for me to go with the 35.
30 cams can be used but will not fully utilize the heads. 35 cams can be used but must have the dowel pin redrilled. 30 sprockets work just fine.
Good call on the GTR's Kurt. First one I see, after I piss myself I'm gonna ram into the back of em. J/K.
