i am lookin for a z/g 6spd tranny to bold up to the vq30det that's on it's way.;)

as far as hp, i geuss its not really known yet as these engines havnt been played around with much, but having stronger rods/pistons/oil squirters,lower comp ratio and possibly a larger or stronger crank(wont really know till i get one apart) they should be good for 500-600hp but again i will only know when ive done it.

as far as bellhousing, i used the rwd auto housing that came with my engine, as the rwd one has the relief for the starter, where the fwd one uses a different starter location.

yes fd primarys will work, anything that the sr guys use will work for our engines too.

the FD primaries aren't too long? they look a lil bit longer than the sr/rb/vq injectors. but i guess everyone else has had no problems?

where do you mean too long? body or pintle?

once the collar is on the body is right, if its the pintle end your worried about im using the extended alloy pintle on my sard 850cc and they are fine

k. does anyone else need 550s?

finally got new fuel pump and installed last night, but now the starter wont turn over fast enough and seems to drain the battery in litterally 20 seconds,

ill have to double check all my wiring and try another starter tonight

Yes I need a set of 6! No rush really. And I dont want them soon either, I just will need them in a few months. Moving FTL (thats For The Loss for you not in the know) PM me with info.

i thought the pintle would be too long but i searched and saw they were fine.

installed another starter, re did all the starter wiring, and still no change

so it looks like ill be pulling the motor out so i can try and sus it all out on the bench.

looks like z32 flywheel might not work after all

any news on this?

not for another week, i have a cefiro/maxima flywheel getting surfaced at the moment, it will have to do till i can afford to buy an aftermarket one from the states.

so next weekend i will let you know weather the 300zx flywheel will or wont work.

do you know if any TPS interchange with that of the VQ30DET? also, wut about the water pump?

the a32 maxima/cefiro has the same tps, also same waterpump.

im currently using a s14 t/b and tps as i changed the direction of the inlet manifold.
