My mechanic has installed a GMC v-6 into my 2000 Montana. Same engine but intake manifold was not swapped. Now auto runs well BUT engine temp never went over 165F on a 40F day. What's the problem? Mechanic wants to recondition heads from 00 & install them in place of o5 heads. Is this worth the effort?
